NSAIDS Don't Work Long-Term

AMA Prefers Chiropractic

C.C.N. takes listeners through a brief history between the American Medical Association and the Chiropractic Profession, beginning with the Committee on Quackery, the AMA’s illegal boycott of Chiropractic care, and ending with the AMA’s current conclusion that Chiropractic care is more effective at treating low back pain than medication. Supporting the AMA’s conclusion, the doctor reviews two trial studies: the first demonstrating that pain improves with spinal manipulation; the second demonstrating that function can improve with spinal manipulation.

While comparing two nearly identical disk injuries belonging to two football players, the doctor also briefly discusses non-steroidal anti-inflammatory use and how it slows healing by interrupting the acute and general inflammatory responses.
